WHAT IS SEBBORHEIC KERATOSIS? HOW DO THEY LOOK AND WHY DO THEY APPEAR?
Flat black coloured patches generally seen on hands and face of aged people are called Seborrheic Keratosis. They occur primarily due to sun exposure and ageing.
WHAT IS THE TREATMENT?
Ablative laser is used to scrape off the black patches. It burns off the superficial skin in a very controlled manner thus killing the pigment embedded in it along the way.
